My biggest classical and rock influences include Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Liszt, Stravinsky, Rachmaninov, Led Zeppelin, Boston, Ozzy, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Styx and always, my Dad. Many professional musicians have influenced and encourage me. They include Natsuki Fukasawa, Don Airey (Deep Purple), Dennis DeYoung (Styx), Rick Wright (Pink Floyd), Lucia Micarelli (Josh Groban / Jethro Tull / Chris Botti), the late Randy Rhoads (Ozzy) and Frank Hannon, Jeff Keith, and Brian Wheat (Tesla). Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I went to many concerts with my father, who also loves and plays music. He’s my toughest critic and greatest supporter. Ever since I can remember, we’ve attended events, studied performances, and sometimes even practiced together. He’s my greatest inspiration and the most talented man in my life. - Skylar
